Job Summary
The CNC Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to ensure accurate and efficient production in accordance with technical drawings and work instructions. The role includes machine setup, parameter monitoring, and routine inspections to maintain quality standards. The operator must adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies, report any machine issues, and ensure proper use of tools and equipment. Additionally, the role requires teamwork to support smooth workflow and timely completion of production targets.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Follow all yard Safety Rules, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environmental Policies.
• Operate CNC machines according to work instructions, and manuals, ensuring proper tool usage.
• Set up machines, monitor parameters, and perform routine inspections to maintain accuracy and quality.
• Maintain machines, tools, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Report machine faults, breakdowns, or irregularities to the Foreman or Supervisor.
• Attend toolbox talks (TBT) and implement instructions on safety, quality, and production.
• Use tools and machinery carefully to prevent damage, wear, or breakdown.
• Execute assigned tasks diligently, meeting quality and time standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.

Key Requirements

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating CNC machines.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions.
• Knowledge of CNC machine setup, tooling, machining parameters, and quality control.
• Experience in material handling, safety compliance, and preventing damage or wastage.
