Job Summary

The Estimator will lead the preparation of cost estimates, tender submissions, and commercial proposals for projects. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, timely, and competitive bids, consolidating inputs from multiple stakeholders, and supporting strategic decision-making within the commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for tenders, change orders, and project variations.
• Consolidate and review inputs from engineering, procurement, and other departments to produce complete commercial submissions.
• Analyze project risks and provide recommendations to optimize cost and schedule.
• Support tender strategy development and assist in bid/no-bid decision-making.
• Maintain and update estimation databases, templates, and historical cost records.
• Collaborate with project and commercial teams to ensure alignment of cost plans with project objectives.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s in engineering, quantity survey or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in estimation, tendering, or commercial management for construction, marine, or high-spec industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of construction/project costing, tender processes
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
