Job Summary
Responsible for supervising and monitoring day-to-day HSE activities at the project site, ensuring compliance with the Project HSE Plan, risk assessments, permits, and safety procedures. The role monitors contractor and subcontractor HSE performance, conducts site inspections and safety activities, supports risk assessments and incident investigations, and ensures corrective actions are properly implemented and closed. The position also coordinates with the Project HSE Lead and HSE team, maintains HSE records and reports, promotes safety awareness, and supports emergency preparedness and response activities.
Key Responsibilities
Tasks and Responsibilities :
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day HSE activities at the project site.
- Ensure compliance with Project HSE Plan, risk assessments, permits, and safety procedures.
- Conduct routine site inspections, safety observations, and toolbox meetings.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor HSE performance.
- Identify unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are implemented and closed.
- Support risk assessments, method statements, and work activity reviews.
- Monitor high-risk activities such as lifting, working at height, hot work, confined space, and SIMOPS.
- Support incident reporting, investigation, and corrective actions.
- Maintain HSE records, statistics, inspections, and reports.
- Promote safety awareness and compliance among project personnel.
- Coordinate with the Project HSE Lead and existing HSE team on project HSE matters.
- Support emergency preparedness, drills, and response arrangements.
Key Requirements
Preferred Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
Education and Key Certifications Necessary
- AK3 General Umum (Occupational Health & Safety).
- AK3 Muda (Occupational Health & Safety) – an added advantage.
- Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety.
