The Dimensional Control (DC) Surveyor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of dimensional measurements for newbuilding and ship repair projects. The role includes preparing drawings and checklists, conducting site measurements using surveying equipment, and validating dimensional reports prior to release. This position also oversees manpower planning, supports coordination with related departments to resolve deviations, and ensures proper maintenance and calibration of survey equipment. The DC Surveyor plays a key role in maintaining quality standards and supporting smooth project execution through precise measurement control and reporting.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Prepare dimensional drawing/checklist for any newbuilding and ship repair project
- Oversight all project, formulate dimension control plan when needed
- Plan and distribute DC team manpower in daily and weekly basis
- Conduct dimensional check using total station to ensure that the specified standards are met.
- Analyse, validate and endorse dimensional control reports prior release, assist related departments & discuss proper remedial action in case out of tolerance.
- Maintain dimensional survey equipment condition, calibration validity, and properly archive of all dimensional control reports.
Preferred Experience
- Min. 6 years as dimension surveyor civil or shipyard
- Have experience as drafter using AutoCAD
Key Requirements
Education and Key certifications necessary
- Surveyor training of certification will be an advantage.
- Good communication skill in Indonesia and English.
- Familiar with the AutoCAD program, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to use various surveying equipment’s such as electronic total station Sokkia and Leica, auto level machine and accessories.
- Knowledge of relevant math and possess three-dimensional conceptual skills.
- Team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and committed.
