Tasks and Responsibilities :

1. Maintain records of tools and equipment issued, returned, damaged, or lost.
2. Coordinate with the Mechanical Supervisor, Procurement, Warehouse, and other departments regarding material requirements and availability.
3. Check incoming materials and spare parts against purchase orders, delivery notes, and specifications.
4. Manage and control the receipt, storage, issuance, and return of mechanical materials, spare parts, tools, and equipment.
5. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all stock transactions are properly documented.
6. Conduct regular stock checks and physical inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
7. Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and report material shortages or excess stock to the Supervisor.
8. Ensure all materials, spare parts, and tools are properly identified, labeled, and stored according to their specifications.
9. Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness, and safe arrangement of the store area.
10. Control the issuance of tools and equipment to mechanics and other authorized personnel.
11. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports as required.
12. Support material planning and preparation for mechanical jobs and maintenance activities.
13. Ensure all store activities comply with company procedures, HSE requirements, and project standards.
14. Identify damaged, obsolete, or non-conforming materials and report them to the Supervisor responsible.
15. Maintain proper documentation and filing of store records, including Material Receiving Reports, Material Issue Records, and inventory documents.
16. Take responsibility for overall store coordination, inventory control, manpower allocation, and performance of the store team.
