Job Summary

Purpose:

  • To collaborate directly with our Partner Vendor to design, develop, and validate automation use cases within our SAP environment. This role serves as a critical bridge between our internal operations and external expertise, accelerating the delivery of tangible automation solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • To build and document critical SAP system process and functions, transforming disparate information sources into a single, searchable, and user-friendly Knowledge Base (KB).
  • To collaborate with in-house SAP Team to automate user self services through IT tools such as SAP-BTP, ServiceNOW etc.

 

Key Objectives & Contribution:

  • Use Case Development: Partner with the vendor to identify, document, and build high-impact automation opportunities within SAP processes
    • New entity set-up
    • Purchase Requisition FAL Update
    • Purchase Order FAL Update 
  • Testing & Validation: Support the configuration, testing, and refinement of automated workflows to ensure they meet business requirements and perform reliably.
  • Knowledge & Handoff: Document use cases and processes to enable smooth knowledge transfer to our internal teams for ongoing management and scaling.

  • Accelerates Implementation: Adds dedicated bandwidth to rapidly prototype and deploy automated solutions, shortening the project timeline.
  • Enhances Partnership: Strengthens collaboration with our vendor through a focused, day-to-day point of contact, ensuring alignment and clearer communication.
  • Builds Internal Capability: Creates a foundation of documented use cases and processes that the team can leverage and expand upon after the internship concludes.

Key Responsibilities

RPA Development & Automation Engineering

  • Take part in cutting-edge RPA projects, automating processes that will revolutionize how we operate.
  • Analyze potential for automation, determining the technical feasibility of transforming business opportunities into efficient RPA solutions with senior engineer.
  • Craft robust RPA workflows designed to enhance speed and precision, significantly improving business functions.
  • Involve in dive deep into business requirements, not only to understand but also to shape RPA solutions that directly address and streamline our operations.
  • Engage in comprehensive testing from start to finish, refine automation for optimal performance, and provide support that users can rely on.
  • Develop thorough documentation that captures process designs and technical frameworks, ensuring clarity and continuity in our automation journey.
  • Document automation solutions comprehensively by creating clear documentation that explain bot purposes, inputs/outputs, troubleshooting steps, and ownership.
  • Play a crucial role in resolving complex technical issues, ensuring that our RPA solutions run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Learn to compile comprehensive progress reports, contributing to the management and resolution of any project risks or issues. 
  • Work with the vendor as a technical co-developer, ensuring automation solutions are well-documented and knowledge is captured during build phases.

 

Knowledge Base Development & Documentation

  • Partner with the support/in-house SAP teams to gather, verify, and prioritize FAQ content for the KB.
  • Consolidate and structure FAQs from various sources (teams, tickets, vendor notes) into a standardized, searchable format for the new Knowledge Base (KB) repository.
  • Establish and implement a consistent taxonomy and tagging system for the KB to ensure information is easily discoverable and maintainable.

 

User Self-Service Initiatives 

  • Translate repetitive user enquiries into opportunities for user self-service to review user guides and training snippets  
  • Analyze support tickets to identify business processes as opportunities for user self-service through automation or low-code/no code application 

Education

Diploma
Bachelors in Computer Science or Information Technology
