Job Summary

We are offering an exciting internship opportunity within Group Marine & HSSEQ department for candidates eager to gain practical experience in the maritime industry. This internship will provide valuable exposure to various aspects of Marine HSSEQ, Training & Environmental compliance management within a dynamic shipping environment.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, participate in real-world projects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our HSSEQ practices including:

• Preparing HSSE & Compliance related Bulletins and Newsletter under supervision.
• Monitor, track & trend the effectiveness of campaigns and projects rolled out to crew and vessels.
• Prepare Placards / training materials under guidance for culture & awareness enhancements of ship & shore employees.
• Support in planning of Crisis Management & incident management
• Support in planning and strategy for continual improvement in HSSEQ delivery.
• Monitor, track and update Marine & HSSEQ KPIs scorecard.
• Engagement and Training to Support safe operations of vessels.
• Support in trend and analysis for all HSSE data
• Upkeep of Incident and Injury database

Key Requirements

• Aptitude and interest in understanding maritime safety management systems that ensures port, terminal and vessel/shore compatibility.
• Strong project management skills and confidence to manage improvement initiatives
• Confidence in managing and communicating and building relationships with industry bodies.
• Proficiency with data analytics and presentation tools and applications an advantage: PowerBI, MS Excel, Powerpoint
