Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Accounts Receivable specialist to join our Group Shared Services team, supporting one of our key business units within the property sector. This role covers the full Accounts Receivable cycle for shopping malls and office properties, offering strong exposure to a structured, high-volume environment under a well-established conglomerate. This position is ideal for early-career professionals who are keen to build a solid foundation in finance and accounting within a reputable organisation. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable functions for malls and office portfolios
  • Check rental invoices, service billings, and other receivables
  • Monitor collections, follow up with tenants on outstanding balances
  • Perform daily cash application and reconciliation of receipts
  • Maintain accurate AR ageing, security deposit, utilities, DDA collection, cash book etc. reports and support month-end closing activities
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders such as Leasing, Operations, and Property Management teams to resolve billing discrepancies and tenant queries.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and standard operating procedures
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities for AR
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives
  • Support audits and ad-hoc finance projects when required
  • Undertake any other jobs and duties may be assigned from time to time by management.

Key Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Candidates with 2 years of AR experience are welcome
  • Basic understanding of Accounts Receivable or general accounting principles
  • Someone with a high level of integrity, proactive team player with a positive attitude, willing to learn and a sense of curiosity
  • Comfortable working with numbers, reports, and spreadsheets (Excel and SAP knowledge is an advantage)
  • Good communication skills and able to follow up professionally with internal and external parties
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a structured, shared services environment
  • Experience in property, retail, or shared services is an added advantage but not mandatory
