Job Summary
This position is based at KL Eco City, Malaysia.
Responsible for the processing of crew payroll, statutory reporting and related payables.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify seafarer contracts, movements & bank details updated in Crew Management Software.
- Processing monthly/final wages & payments to seafarer using Crew Payroll Software (auto-interface to SAP).
- Processing monthly statutory contributions for seafarer.
- Processing CTM (Cash to Master) payments and register its accounting entries into SAP.
- Perform monthly/quarterly reconciliation of crew control accounts.
- Yearly submission of employers’ income tax returns IR8A for seafarer.
- Liaise with Business Units on operation matters.
- Perform ad hoc assignments as and when required.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounts payable.
- Experience in payroll is an added advantage.
- Meticulous and attention to details.
- Good communication skills.
Education
Bachelors in Accountancy or Finance
