Job Summary

This position is based at KL Eco City, Malaysia.

Responsible for the processing of crew payroll, statutory reporting and related payables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify seafarer contracts, movements & bank details updated in Crew Management Software.
  • Processing monthly/final wages & payments to seafarer using Crew Payroll Software (auto-interface to SAP).
  • Processing monthly statutory contributions for seafarer.
  • Processing CTM (Cash to Master) payments and register its accounting entries into SAP.
  • Perform monthly/quarterly reconciliation of crew control accounts.
  • Yearly submission of employers’ income tax returns IR8A for seafarer.
  • Liaise with Business Units on operation matters.
  • Perform ad hoc assignments as and when required.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounts payable.
  • Experience in payroll is an added advantage.
  • Meticulous and attention to details.
  • Good communication skills.

Education

Bachelors in Accountancy or Finance
