Job Summary
Oversee Treasury Operations team in managing banking administration, cash flow operations, and treasury-related activities across the Business Units (BUs). Ensure efficient treasury operations, strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and timely execution of banking transactions while providing leadership, coaching, and operational support to the team.
Key Responsibilities
Treasury Operations
- Oversee daily bank movements and ensure timely reconciliation against the Cashbook.
- Review and monitor daily cash positions, funding requirements, and cash flow forecasts across Business Unit.
- Review and approve fund planning proposals to ensure adequate liquidity and optimal cash utilization.
- Oversee the maintenance of loan schedules and review loan interest, repayment, and drawdown instructions.
- Manage the administration of Bank Guarantees, including applications, renewals, amendments, cancellations, and maintaining the control register.
- Review and authorize treasury-related payments in accordance with delegated authority and internal control policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly bank reconciliations and treasury-related month-end closing activities in SAP.
- Review Fixed Deposit reports, Facility Utilization reports, and other treasury management reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor banking facilities and ensure compliance with financing agreements and banking covenants.
- Coordinate with Group Treasury to optimize cash management, banking facilities, and treasury initiatives.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop the Treasury Operations team to ensure high performance and continuous capability development.
- Allocate work, monitor team performance, and ensure service level expectations are consistently achieved.
- Review team outputs and ensure treasury activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and within established timelines.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
Governance & Process Improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies, treasury procedures, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities to improve treasury processes, systems, and operational efficiency.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing treasury documentation and responding to audit queries.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5-7 years of treasury, finance, or accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Experience in corporate treasury operations within a multinational or shared services environment is an advantage.
- Experience with SAP preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to internal controls.
