Job Summary
Provides support to Executive Recruitment including recruitment and documentation/administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage the screening and selection process to maintain a high-quality pool of seafarers available for crewing assignments.
- Conduct initial phone interviews to assess applicant suitability, acting as the key first point of contact in the recruitment process.
- Regularly update and maintain accuracy of applicant profiles and statuses within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data integrity for reporting and decision-making.
- Monitor crew availability and promptly update systems to reflect changes, supporting effective crew deployment planning.
- Administer required tests and learning modules such as CES and PILI, ensuring candidates meet necessary certification and competency standards.
- Perform rigorous sanction and background checks to comply with legal and company policies safeguarding operational compliance.
- Engage shortlisted candidates with comprehensive briefings to prepare them for subsequent interview stages, enhancing candidate experience and readiness.
- Coordinate interview schedules for online and onsite sessions, liaising efficiently between candidates and interviewing panels to facilitate smooth recruitment processes.
- Collaborate closely with Business Intelligence (BI) teams and clients to provide timely updates on applicant progress and recruitment metrics.
- Prepare and submit detailed approval requests for candidate onboarding and advancement, ensuring alignment with recruitment objectives and compliance requirements.
- Maintain and update detailed records in Compas, conducting checks on training and certification compliance to support crew readiness.
- Continuously improve recruitment processes by providing feedback and suggestions based on operational experience and applicant interactions.
Key Requirements

College Degree
-
Preferably have a degree in Human Resource Management, General Business, or Similar Qualifications in Maritime Studies

Preferably possess a MARINA issued Certificate of Competency (CoC) - OIC-NW or OIC-EW (not mandatory)

Have crew recruitment experience preferably within the shipping industry or with sailing experience

Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and confidently with principals, agents, and vessel crews

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Adequate knowledge in ISO 9001 Standards

Advanced organizational skills
Education
Bachelors in Science or Marine Engineering
Diploma in Others
