Job Summary

The Senior Project Engineer will be supporting an R&D team to integrate and convert new conceptual design to system integration readiness and transition into prototyping and validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical P&ID drawings, specifications for retrofits of new shipboard systems
• Deliver integration concepts and general arrangement drawing
• Deliver early hazard identification and system safety considerations
• Support the technology development team from design phase to prototyping
• Support new business opportunities with key partners to accelerate the adoption of maritime decarbonization solutions

Key Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in relevant disciplines (Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or similar)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in marine engineering (with strong expertise in ship layout, piping design, materials and pressure systems)
• Preferably have experience in carbon capture, exhaust scrubber retrofits, integration of process systems into ships and preparation of designs for AiP
• Keen on maritime decarbonization, new system’s design, prototyping and validation
• Possesses good spoken and written communication skills
