Job Summary

• The forklift operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklift equipment to handle, transport, load, and unload materials, while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, conducting routine equipment inspections, and supporting accurate inventory management in accordance with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and Observe the HSE Rules and Regulations
• Understand the importance of Safety and consequences of violating it.
• Understand that Safety is a pre-requisite of work
• Ensuring safe operation in dynamic workplace with pedestrians, tight spaces, and moving equipment
• Consistently following SOPs, workplace safety rules, and compliance standards.

Key Requirements

• 3 years and above of forklift driving in Marine Shipyard
• Conducting equipment checks and ensuring compliance with standards
• Performed routine pre‑operation and post‑operation inspections to ensure forklifts were in safe working condition
• Maintained cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas to support safe operations
