Job Summary
The Operations Intern supports the day-to-day operations of both the office and retail mall by assisting with administrative tasks, operational coordination, tenant support, vendor management, and facility management activities.
This role places a strong emphasis on administrative functions, including proper documentation, accurate record-keeping, and timely follow-up on operational matters. The incumbent will gain handson exposure to retail operations, tenant management, safety and compliance procedures, and administrative processes, while working closely with the Operations team to ensure smooth and efficient operations across all areas of the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute administrative responsibilities by managing digital filing and recording systems, structuring files and folders for efficient access, ensuring proper documentation, maintaining accurate records, and providing timely follow-up on operational matters.
- Collaborate with tenants, vendors, service providers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth day-to-day operations
- Support facility management activities, including monitoring cleanliness, safety, and compliance with mall policies and standards
- Prepare presentation slides, reports, and other documentation to support operational and administrative requirements
- Assist with operational coordination across office and retail mall functions, working closely with the Operations team
Key Requirements
- Pursuing a degree/diploma in Facilities Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
- Available to commit at least 6 months
- A detail-oriented and meticulous individual with strong administrative skills, adept at ensuring
proper documentation, accurate record-keeping, and structured organizational processes. - Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to review and interpret building plans/drawings (preferred) to assist with facility management and maintenance coordination
- Team player with a strong passion and keen interest in facility management
