Job Summary

The interns specifically focused on AI development, event activations, and low-code application development via Microsoft PowerApps.

Key Responsibilities

AI Initiatives & Development

• Assist in the research, evaluation, and prototyping of AI/ML models and use cases relevant to organisational needs.
• Support the development and testing of AI-powered tools, chatbots, automation workflows, and data pipelines.
• Contribute to the documentation of AI solutions, technical specifications, and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with data and technology teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems and processes.
• Monitor emerging AI trends, tools, and frameworks, and share findings with the team.

AI Activities & Event Management

• Plan, coordinate, and execute internal AI awareness campaigns, lunch-and-learn sessions, hackathons, and workshops.
• Develop engaging communication materials, including presentations, posters, videos, and social content related to AI initiatives.
• Manage, registration, vendor coordination, and post-event reporting.
• Gather feedback from participants and propose improvements for future AI events.
• Maintain an AI activities calendar and ensure timely delivery of scheduled programmes.

PowerApps Development

• Design, build, and deploy Microsoft PowerApps canvas and model-driven applications to digitise and automate business processes.
• Develop Power Automate flows integrated with PowerApps to streamline workflows and approvals.
• Connect PowerApps solutions to data sources including SharePoint, Dataverse, Excel, and external APIs.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), gather feedback, and iterate on application design.

Key Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in one of the following fields:
  • Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
  • Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or Machine Learning
  • Business Information Systems or Digital Business
  • Electrical/Electronic Engineering with a computing focus
• Project or related experience in
  • Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900)
  • Microsoft Power Apps & Power Automate Associate
  • Coursera / Udemy / edX completions in AI, Data Science, or Low-Code Development
• Microsoft PowerApps – Ability to build canvas and/or model-driven apps; knowledge of Power FX formulas.
• Power Automate – Ability to design automated flows, approvals, and connectors.
• Microsoft Power Platform – Familiarity with Dataverse, Power BI, and the broader Power Platform ecosystem.
• AI/ML Fundamentals – Understanding of machine learning concepts, NLP, computer vision, or generative AI.
• Programming Languages – Proficiency in at least one of: Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Cloud Platforms – Exposure to Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud (AI/ML services preferred).
• API Integration – Basic understanding of REST APIs and how to connect external services.
• Experience or interest in event planning, facilitation, or community engagement.
• Familiarity with tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, or other design/content creation platforms.
