Responsibilities
Overall Diving Operations:
- Ensure project diving activities are in line with PS QHSE Management System and local regulations.
- Oversee diving operations at different worksites for reliable assets, equipment, and trained personnel.
- Lead and promote compliance with Diving operational procedures across offshore teams.
- Expand IMCA compliance across regions using improvement plans.
- Lead IMCA-based competency scheme for diving personnel.
- Review and implement project diving plans on offshore worksites.
- Promote equipment and process improvements, including safety-related items.
- Lead Innovation in process, execution and documentation for enhancing safety and productivity.
- Liaise with customers for project feedback and lessons learned, ensuring dissemination.
- Ensure good communication and interfacing with Marine division.
Safety and Quality Assurance:
- Review newly developed or revised QHSE programs.
- Share lessons learned across the organization from various projects or worksites.
- Audit risk assessments, management of change, and competency records during operations.
- Manage diving-related incidents according to PS procedures, PS-QHSE-PRO-011 Incident and Near Miss
- Reporting & Investigation Procedure and a root cause analysis is carried out on all high potential incidents.
- Communicate employees' "STOP WORK Authority" responsibility without reprimand.
- Demonstrate personal commitment to an incident-free work environment and expect the same commitment
from the organization.
Medical Emergencies:
- Ensure awareness of communication protocols for diving medical emergencies on vessels and worksites.
- Maintain communication with Diving Medical Advisor service provider for compliance and updates.
- Coordinate with Diving Medical Advisor and OCS during emergencies.
Accountability
- Overseeing diving operations with a focus on safety, compliance, and quality.
- Ensuring that all diving activities align with QHSE regulations and procedures, overseeing operations at
various sites and enforcing IMCA compliance. - Implementing diving plans, advocating for equipment improvements, and fostering communication with
client.
Qualification / Experience
- Bachelor’s / master’s degree or Diploma certificate in management and / or engineering fields
- Minimum 15 years of experience in offshore oil and gas subsea construction industry in supervisory positions both onshore & offshore.
- Air / Sat diving IMCA approved certification.
