Key Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of 4 or more
• Oversee the Accounts Payable function, including overseeing Malaysia shared service team and ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations
• Cash flow management, including cash flow forecast and review of foreign exchange hedging requirements
• Take charge of working capital requirements and monitoring of bank accounts and loans for all PaxOcean SG entities
• Oversee the fixed assets register and ensure proper capitalization, depreciation, and disposal processes
• Oversee hedging of newbuild or conversion projects to manage foreign currency risk
• Lead and manage continuous improvement projects for Finance department excellence
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents
• Support in ad-hoc projects when appropriate, including resolving issues

Key Requirements

• Min 6-8 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in a regional or multinational environment
• Proficient in MS Excel and Words
• Experience in managing a team
• Experience in SAP will be advantage
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls
