Job Summary

This role leads the end-to-end operations, maintenance and facilities management of the mall and office buildings, ensuring optimal performance, regulatory compliance and high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the operations team in managing the service operations and maintenance of the mall and office buildings.
  • Plan, formulate, manage and oversee the operations, maintenance, and upkeep of the mall and office buildings.
  • Implement master schedule maintenance program for all M&E systems and services. This includes planning, managing and monitoring to ensure that preventive maintenance is carried out to specifications with compliance to regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure operational issues are identified and rectified promptly.
  • Set benchmarks for monitoring performance of key contractors, including regular audits, to ensure that expected standards are adhered to
  • Responsible for operations budget, administration, and management of service contracts.
  • Responsible for the preparation and collation of relevant management reports.
  • Review, improve and make recommendations on SOP and workflows to ensure work efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Review the facilities management programs and developments to ensure that the buildings perform at an optimum level.
  • Maintain good relations with tenants, manage tenant fit out works and Asset Enhancement Projects.
  • Collaborate with Group Operations to launch and implement Group, ESG initiatives, etc, as needed.

Key Requirements

•   Bachelor / Diploma in Facilities Management / Mechanical Engineering

•   Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role in a similar capacity.
•   Experience in property management, shopping mall or retail environment with involvement in asset enhancement projects will be an added advantage.
•   Sound knowledge of M&E, Civil Security, Fire Safety and Estate management.
•   Knowledge of carparking equipment, security, and housekeeping is an added advantage.
•   Familiar with Electricity Supply Act, Electricity Regulations, IEE Wiring Regulations, etc.
•   Familiarity with building/retail mail maintenance work and regulations.
•   Possess strong leadership, people management, result-oriented and able to work within tight deadlines
•   Proven ability to be flexible, prioritize and manage multiple projects in a timely manner.
•   Possess good command of both written and spoken English.
•   Proficient in Microsoft software and strong report-writing skills.
