Job Summary
The role is responsible for delivering revenue growth by consistently achieving individual sales targets and meeting annual budgeted revenue goals, through proactive ownership of sales strategy and execution across an assigned portfolio. The position focuses on expanding market share in targeted growth industries, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and aligning sales efforts with overall commercial strategies. The role contributes to company profitability through proactive sales execution, cross-functional collaboration, and consistent customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Performance & Strategy
- Achieve annual budgeted revenue targets and contribute to overall company profitability.
- Develop and implement sales plans and strategies for the assigned portfolio, in alignment with company objectives.
- Align sales focus and targeting with selling strategies set by the Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM) and Revenue Manager.
Business Development & Account Management
- Prepare and execute sales action plans to identify and develop new leads and prospects
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships to maintain or increase market share
- Develop new customers within targeted growth industries
- Schedule and conduct customer sales visits, site inspections, and presentations
- Prepare proposals and follow through on conversions, renewals, and contract closures
Customer Engagement & Service
- Attend to customer enquiries, requests, and feedback in a prompt and professional manner
- Own and manage customer/resident feedback, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution and guest satisfaction
- Partner closely with Sales and Reservations team to ensure clear communication and seamless fulfillment of customer requirements
Reporting, Systems & Market Intelligence
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and contact profiles in the CRM system
- Provide timely updates on sales opportunities and activities, including submission of required reports
- Provide regular feedback on market conditions, customer trends, and competitor activities to the DOSM and sales team
Collaboration & Compliance
- Support Sales & Marketing initiatives through proactive participation in team assignments and projects
- Render assistance and support to other team members, as and when required
- Take on ad hoc tasks or projects assigned by the DOSM with timely responses and follow-through
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct
Key Requirements
- Candidates with 3 to 5 years’ current experience in a sales capacity with an established serviced apartment, upscale city hotel, travel management company or from the relocation industry.
- Proven track record in customer acquisition, growing market share and achieving set sales targets.
- Self-motivated with tenacity, result-oriented and resourceful.
- Positive and collaborative work attitude, able to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in spoken/written English and a second language.
- Proficient with MS Office Programs, with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Salesforce CRM
