Job Summary

• Comply with Supervisor and foreman’s instructions to perform and achieve quality work.  
• Follow applicable procedures in producing quality work.
• Duties to be performed in the most productive and efficient manner.
• Comply with yard safety requirements & safe work procedures.
• Ensure safe operation of tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Able to follow instructions given by foremen / supervisor.
• Able to work together in a team with other tradesmen.
• Attend risk assessment briefing before the start of work and adhere to the mentioned safe work procedures during the work process.
• Ensure personal safety and safety of others before and during work operations.
• Handle tools and equipment with care.
• Report any safety hazards immediately to foremen / supervisors upon discovery.
• Thoroughly check the serviceability of tools and equipment before and after using.
• Carry out duties within the given timeframe to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Coordinate with other trades for sequential workflow and smoother job completion within given schedule.
• Have a sense of responsibility in accomplishing tasks with minimum supervision.
• Perform general housekeeping after completion of work.

Key Requirements

• 2 Years above with relevant working experience in mechanical
• Must have knowledge on Mechanical Works.
• Able to speak and write simple English.
• Young, physically active and has a positive behaviour.
• Good understanding on safety operations.
• Self-initiative, highly motivated and willing to accept additional workload.
• Able to operate simple tools and equipment.
• Basic understanding in the principles of Machinery equipment.
• General knowledge in basic marine Machineries and systems.

Education
