Job Summary

• Compliance to foreman/supervisor’s instruction, to achieve and meet safety and daily targets.
• Compliance to safe work procedures and risk assessment.
• To carry out pipe welding in various material types according to WPS
• To carry out other miscellaneous welding activities onboard or in Pipeshop as assigned
• Perform other related jobs as assigned by HOD / Snr Engineer / Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for good quality welding on assigned tasks.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of auto-welding machines.
• Must be a team player and promote cohesiveness.
• To ensure personal safety and others inclusive.
• In due diligence, to report any defects found on any tools and equipment to their foreman/supervisor.
• Always maintain good housekeeping and safety at all the time onboard vessel & workshop.

Key Requirements

• 2 Years above with relevant working experience (Prefer in Marine & Maritime industry).
• Competent in WSQ Apply Workplace Safety and Health in Shipyard (General Trade)
• 6G welding certification (minimum) in Carbon Steel.
